Annual Christmas Special

The holidays are quickly approaching and it is time again for my annual Christmas Portrait special! I will be doing sessions each weekend from November 12th to December 10th! This is a great chance to get family portraits done for your Christmas cards or for family presents for a GREAT price!

The special includes at 45 minute session with a High-Resolution CD of the edited images taken during the session. The cost will be $100 due at the time of the session.

I will be mailing the CDs and I require cash for the session fee. These two things significantly help to cut down on the time I spend running around after these sessions as I like to enjoy my holidays too!

Two things I've been obsessed with lately...Esty and Pinterest! While Esty is helping to decorate my home and plan my son's 8th birthday...pinterest is giving me a million ideas for photos! I love to surf around and see what other photographers are coming up with. I saw a few ideas for annoucing pregnancy and that got me thinking... why not come up with a session to announce pregnancy? So I borrowed my newly expecting friends to test out some of my ideas. I think these pictures are SUPER cute and just might be the next big thing ;-)

Pumpkin Patch Mini Sessions Special

Fall is here and it’s that time again!

Pumpkin Patch Mini Session are going to be on October 8th and October 9th. The special includes at 30 minute session and a CD of the edited images taken during the session. The cost will be $50 due at the time of the session.

On Saturday, October 8th, the sessions will be at the pumpkin patch at the University United Methodist Church on DeZavala and Vance Jackson. On Sunday, October 9th, sessions will be at the pumpkin patch at the St. Thomas Episcopal School on 1604 and 281. Times available are as follows:

I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world in my life, but I think its safe to say, Maui is my new favorite! Matt and I are counting the minutes until we can return!

The worst blogger EVER! Wow, has it really been since March that I last posted? I do apologize! This year seems to have hit me with lighting speed!
It's been a big one though, for starters I got married in May! My dear friend Michelle of Michelle Jones Photography took both my bridal pictures and my wedding pictures.
We took my bridal pictures at the Cibolo Nature Center. I have taken pictures there a million times before and have never seen any "nature". However, at my bridal shoot, we ran into a possum, an armadillo, and even a snake! It was quite an adventure! Here are just a few of my favorite...

We got married on May 6th at the Ye Kendall Inn. I absolutely love that place! I have always wanted a very small wedding, our wedding was only I think a total of 12 people and just absolute perfection! Just a handful of pics...

We took all of our pictures before the ceremony, saves SO much time!

It's been a while! Sorry for the LONG absence, I have not kept up with my blog very well. Christmas was absolutely insane, as usually. I did SO many sessions that I was too busy to keep up, however if you are interested in seeing what I've been up to, check out my Facebook!
The next few months will be a little on the slow side as I prepare for my upcoming wedding in May. But I'm looking forward to capturing all of your memories in 2011!

My dear friend Avery was married over a year ago. Things got crazy on the wedding day and the photographer did not get a portrait of her. Her mom requested that we get a few pics of her in her dress! Most of these are a little more formal than what I'm used to, but I definitely had fun experimenting!

This is my third session with the Becker family, who is soon to be a family of 4! Little Noah is one of my favorite kiddos to photograph! He always gives me about 5 minutes and then he's off! Such an adventurous little guy! Always a challenge, but that is part of what I love about photography!

I started doing Aleisha and Jonathan's pictures back when Nathan was still in her tummy! Now their expecting a little girl! Since we've done beach pictures twice already this time we opted for the downtown Corpus area...the wind was still horrible though! There is just no escaping it down there!

We were supposed to do Heather's Bridals at the Southwest School of Art and Craft, but the rain kept us from going out. We moved the session to her reception location, Sunset Station. Luckily the rain stopped long enough to get a few pictures on the trains. Heather is so much fun, we had a great time shooting these!

It’s that time again!

I will be doing beach portraits the 2nd weekend in July, the 9th- 12th on North Padre Island (between Corpus Christi and Port Aransas). For those of you who don’t know, I’ll be taking the summer off for some MUCH needed rest, so this will be your only chance for portraits until September!

I'm offering a special price for these sessions. $125 for an hour long session, including a high resolution CD ($60 off my regular prices). However, a $50 deposit will be due up front to hold your spot. After booking, you will have 2 weeks to get the deposit to me before your reserved session will be re-opened.

Yesterday was the first wedding of my last season as a wedding photographer. They had a sweet ceremony at St. Mary's, then a rockin' reception at the St. Anthony.
We did Maria's bridal pictures back in December. If she looks familiar thats because she is the grooms sister of one of my May 2nd weddings from last year!

A Homecoming!

For anyone who knows me very well, knows that I live for documentary-style black and white photos! There are three thing in particular that I have always wanted to shoot...a birth, an actual engagement, and soldiers homecoming.

Thankfully I got to accomplish one of those things this past week. I absolutely LOVE being a part of Operation Love Reunited! Its such a wonderful program! This was my first homecoming and it was amazing. My stomach was all tied up in knots! The little guy didn't have any clue that his dad was coming home, mom made up about why they were at the airport. He was so shocked!

I am so excited to post this, and I am so happy for Matt and Cindy! They have been together 10 years! It was an extremely emotional day, as would be expected. Just a beautiful wedding. In the morning it looked like it we were going to be fighting rain, just like we did for their engagements AND Cindy's bridals, but right before the ceremony the skies opened up and gave us amazing sun :)

Matt and Cindy got married this morning...finally ;) The day we took Cindy's bridals it rained all day, but she was determined to get them done. So we headed out and the minute we got out there it stopped. Then as soon as we got in the car to leave it poured! God was definitely watching out for us that day!
